Looking Glass Sound

I am not a cautious reader. I spend months barely reading at all until I pick up a book I can’t put down.

My brother and I are reading Looking Glass Sound together, with the very reasonable plan of stopping at page 70 to discuss. Instead, I stayed up all night tearing through it, completely hooked and wondering: are there actually wild, hidden places out in the world where coastal rocks whistle with the wind?

I guess this is my blog now

★ Friday Night Entry / 2026

As a very private person, blogging feels totally cringe to me. Naturally, that's why I had to start one.

I spent a Friday night after work sitting at my computer with a cup of coffee, trying to build this, which is not something I ever expected to be doing in 2026.

But oh my god. Somewhere between changing the font for the millionth time and scrolling Pinterest for pictures, I felt like I was 13 again, sitting in front of the family computer customizing my MySpace page. What a golden age.

Honestly, it was kind of refreshing.

I think I miss this. Having a little place on the internet. Writing about a book because I liked it and posting pictures because I took them. There’s a real comfort in making something with zero intention of monetizing it.

So that's all this is. I don't really have a plan for it, and have no idea where this might be headed.
